Taurus Sun and its moons

At the new moon, we will actually still be in Aries, and the sun and moon will be conjunct. It is not until April 21 that both move into Taurus, and barely conjunct at that point, I think?  We also had a solar eclipse.  I know there are some who are iffy about eclipse magic, and others think it gives your magic and extra boost.

Either way, you can choose to honor the Aries or Taurus.  As I (hopefully) remembered to mention last month, New Moons in Aries represent energy, enthusiasm, and new beginnings. Check your house for where.

New Moons in Taurus focus on the "seeds" planted last month to take root.  Stability, sensuality, and values are part of this sign, and Venus as its ruler brings to mind love, comfort and security. Look to your house placement and see where these seeds are to be nurtured.

You could also split that difference. Raise the energy for the new beginnings, and plant those seeds with the extra oomph of the eclipse, and then focus on nurturing them as the sun moves into Taurus.

First Quarter happens on April 27, with the Moon in Cancer, but they won't be square until the 28th, with the Moon in Leo.  The moon in Leo is showy, dramatic, and performances and presentations go well.  This can bring friction with Taurus's desire to stay home or otherwise play it safe.  Magic workings can be about stepping out of your comfort zone.

Full Moon on May 5 takes the moon into Scorpio, so the tension is between holding on vs. letting go.  Time to work on balancing emotional possessiveness with true inner power.

Last Quarter is on May 12, and the Moon moves into Aquarius.  The friction now is between again Taurus's stability and Aquarius's revolutionary and idealistic viewpoint.  A time for detachment, while Taurus sun pulls toward real attachment, so being in a group can require a different approach that might be hard.

This moon is one for testing your comfort zones!  So make sure to stay grounded as you reach out.
