The new "moonth" was a few days ago, and as I mentioned...Covid.  But, the moon doesn't care about my issues. so here we go.

As far as month or moon names go, this month is called Ogronios in the Coligny calendar.  In our grove, we translate this to "End of of Cold Month. "  We honor the Earth Mother and bless the earth by collecting soil from the four corners of our properties and mingling it at the sacred center.  In the group ritual, this often translates to bringing in dirt from all our properties and mingling it, so that wherever we are, we are all standing on the "same ground," as another way to share the sacred center.  We like to call it "making sacred dirt."  It puts me in mind of an Anglo-Saxon ritual, Æcerbot, which is a heavily Christianized blessing rite for a farmer's fields.

(I am trying to repaganize it for my own garden.  Keep your fingers crossed.)

Speaking of the Anglo-Saxons, their month name is Eostremonath, or "the month of the sacrifice to Eostre." All we REALLY know about Eostre, as with Hrede last month, is that this is when she received offerings.  That's it.  There is a common Neopagan assumption she is a goddess of spring or maybe the dawn, and that is so widespread, it can be counted, I think, as Neopagan group gnosis. Anything beyond that is UPG, not lore. As always, both are important, but just acknowledge which is which.   The Germanic version of her name, Ostara, is given to the Spring Equinox holy day among many Neopagans.

The Farmer's Almanac calls the full moon this month the Pink Moon, claimed to be in recognition of creeping flox, with it's small pink flowers.  Later on, certain trees flower with pink buds as well.

Finally, Kondratiev calls this the "Moon of the Sun Tear/Drop," referring to the growing energy in the sun's rays.

We again have some line up for ideas for your meditations and celebrations.  The earth is warming and ready to burst forth with color.
